The Vision

“The Vision”

Ezekiel 12:22-23 (NLT)

22 “Son of man, you’ve heard that proverb they quote in Israel: ‘Time passes, and prophecies come to nothing.’ 23 Tell the people, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will put an end to this proverb, and you will soon stop quoting it.’ Now give them this new proverb to replace the old one: ‘The time has come for every prophecy to be fulfilled!’

‘The time has come for every prophecy to be fulfilled!’

Luke 2:6 (KJV)

And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

Accomplished - to be fulfilled

Luke 2:6 (BLB)

And it came to pass, in their being there, the days of her giving birth were fulfilled.

Amos 9:13 (MSG)

“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel:

“They’ll rebuild their ruined cities.    They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine.    They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables.    And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land.    They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them.”

God, your God, says so.

FIT

Fulfilled In Totality

We want to be “fit” for the Master’s use.

2 Timothy 2:21 (AMP)

Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things [which are dishonorable—disobedient, sinful], he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified [set apart for a special purpose and], useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.

How to be FIT?

It starts with a vision.

Proverbs 29:18 (AMP)

Where there is no vision [no revelation of God and His word], the people are unrestrained; But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law [of God].

Habakkuk 2:2 (KJV)

And the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain upon tablets, that he may run that readeth it.

Genesis 12:2-3 (NIV)

The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

“I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great,    and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

Genesis 15:5 (NIV)

He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”

Genesis 22:17 (NIV)

I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies,

Closing Thought

For years the proverb was, “Time passes and prophecies come to nothing.”I believe the Lord is saying, “That season is over.”

What once felt delayed is now designated. What once seemed postponed is now positioned.Just like Mary, “the days were accomplished.”

This is not just a year of hope, This is The Year of Fulfillment.

But fulfillment doesn’t just happen to us…It happens through vessels that are FIT, Fulfilled In Totality, ready, clean, and available for the Master’s use.

God is not looking for perfect people. He’s looking for prepared vessels Who can say, “Lord, I’m ready for what You’re ready to do.”

Call to Action:

This week, get alone with and spend some time with The Holy Spirit, and ask Him for the vision He has for you, either for this year, or even for your life. It may be a reminder. It may be completely new, but ask Him to make it clear, then write it down, and claim it as yours.
