Perfect Posture

Got to – GET TO

Part Four – PERFECT POSTURE

Philippians 2:13 KJV

For it is God who worketh in you, both to will and to do of His good pleasure.

Posture:

the position or bearing of the body or mind, whether characteristic or assumed for a special purpose

“Consent And Receive”

God has done, and will do the work.

We must simply consent and receive.

Mary demonstrated the perfect posture:

Mary said, “Then Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” And the angel left her. - Luke 1:38 AMP

Even when we are being stubborn, God still gives us grace, as demonstrated in the story of Ballem

Deuteronomy 23:5 NIV

However, the Lord your God would not listen to Balaam but turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you.

Perfect Posture begins with the belief that God has our best interest at heart, and trusting that He can, and is leading us into His perfect will and plan for our lives.

Jeremiah 29:11 AMP

For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Romans 12:2 AMP

And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].

God’s Three Feast and the Picture of God’s Progression

Exodus 23:14-17 AMP

14 “Three times a year you shall celebrate a feast [dedicated] to Me. 15 You shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the appointed time in the month of Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt. No one shall appear before Me empty-handed [but you shall bring sacrificial offerings]. 16 Also [you shall observe] the Feast of Harvest (Weeks, Pentecost, or First Fruits), acknowledging the first fruits of your labor, of what you sow in the field. And [third] the Feast of Ingathering (Booths or Tabernacles) at the end of the year when you gather in [the fruit of] your labors from the field. 17 Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord God.

THE FEAST OF PASSOVER

THE FEAST OF PENTECOST

THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES

Our perfect posture: Believe and Receive

Romans 5:17 NIV

For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
